More Vegas

One week late. Sincere apologies. 

Since our first night consisted of eating dinner in the hotel in my lululemon pants at 1AM, the following evening we stepped up our game. 

Does the obnoxious pink look familiar? I wore it to a Florida wedding in April and I decided it needed to come to Vegas. 

Vegas has some fabulous restaurants and one of our favorite fancy steak spots is Wolfgang Puck’s CUT in the Palazzo. 

A personal tweet is also a nice touch. Bravo Wolfgang, your expensive steak and phenomenal bread service (unreal) gets me every time. 

I attempted a run the following morning and had 3 sweaty miles in the heat (didn’t help that I headed out around 9AM). 

I quickly rinsed off and headed to breakfast in pool attire since we had a cabana for the day. 

When getting sunscreen at the swim shop in the Encore, my mother in law talked me into trying on this number. (<-my top is different than the one in that photo)

Can you say ‘Over the top‘ ? 

Did I get it? yep. hopefully looking at the tiny butt and ridiculous number of jewels will motivate me to get my butt in gear for my July trip to Florida. 

After a sun filled day at the pool, we headed up to Aria to try Jaleo (a favorite of ours in DC). I wanted to try the Las Vegas edition and see how it sized up. 

Sangria is better in DC, but it still got my seal of approval. Some of the menu items were the same, but the presentation was different. I was scared to take my in-laws there, but luckily the ended up loving the food.
