This post reminds me that I wear the same thing when I go on holiday. I have this box of resortwear/vacation clothes/things I don’t wear in real life and they come out when it comes time to pack my luggage and head somewhere warm and beachy.
Blue mosaic blouse from Banana. I like this because it goes with white jeans, reg blue jeans, and my navy shorts. It doesn’t wrinkles in my luggage, so that’s also a plus.
Did you hear C.Wonder is closing?!? These are boyfriend jeans from C.Wonder (so comfy), with a James Perse white tee and a orange Tory necklace. Perfect for walking around and playing tourist.
My objective here was to wear all the colors. I found this bikini top at Target without a bottom. I even went online and searched with no luck. I mix and match it with a couple other bikinis since I really like the back. What is this style called? I feel like I have hear it called ‘fishbone’ or ‘razorback’? Am I off?
Also- those colored aviators are my husbands. Three cheers for sharing.
This little number is a BCBG find. I’m probably too old for cut outs, but in my defense, these are really small little cut outs.
Post Istanbul, we went to an amazing beach resort in Southern Turkey called Hillside Beach Club. There was a private beach that was a quick ten minute walk from the resort and it was my go-to spot for the week. The views were pretty ridiculous.
Ignore the smug look- what I really want to highlight is the necklace I bought from a street vendor in Istanbul. I drove a really hard bargain.
This was DVF dress I bought for the trip and I realize I hate it. Even looking at these pictures I want to purge it from my closet. It is a weird mix of toga and tightness in the wrong places.
This is a Calypso dress that I got for my minimoon when I got married in 2010. I love it and it reminds me of being on vacation. My Hermes bangle is from my FIL- he has good taste!
Here I’m just wearing a smile. And happiness.
Picture overload. I know. Sometimes when you are looking outside and facing a blizzard you need some reflections on warmer days.
