How does a beauty startup celebrate? With blow outs and champagne. Obviously.
As soon as I was done, I hopped into the cab with my new do and headed to Piccolo Sogno for a dinner event.
We had a fabulous dinner with prosecco, pasta, and lots of laughs before heading out for more drinks. Not 24 Day Challenge approved, but a seriously fun evening.
Saturday morning we hit up Costco for a Sonicare (dentist recommended) and then did some chores around the house before going to lunch with friends and a fun tour of the city. I had about an hour of down time before getting ready for the next event.
I had zero idea what I was going to wear, so I proceeded to try on half my closet before deciding on a black dress that I bought several years ago from BCBG.
I paired it with some YSL tribute heels (aka dancing shoes) and some green teardrop earrings from Stella & Dot. I teased and pinned my day-old blow out and ended up with a bun (aka dancing hair).
We enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner at a Chicago museum before the band kicked it off. We danced and mingled for a while before heading to Paris Club for the after party. We had bottle service, but not just any bottle service. BIG bottle service.
I have an obsession with large format champagne, so this was a clear highlight for me.
Reminds me of my wedding…

See? Totally obsessed.
Sunday morning it was back to real life. Back to the 24 Day Challenge and a little caloric burn from Flywheel to sweat out the champagne fun from the evening before.
